Jamieson K. Price (Technical Director / Stage Manager) Throughout his professional stage career Jamieson has worked in virtually every aspect of theatrical production, from lightboard operator to director, ticket seller to fight choreographer, audio engineer to actor. He currently serves as the technical director for LA Opera’s Education and Community Programs dept, technical advisor to the Congregation Kol Ami of West Hollywood, and Stage Supervisor for the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood. He has worked as a stage manager and technical consultant for the Getty Center, Bonnie Franklin’s Classic and Contemporary American Plays, Brazilian Nites Productions, Santa Cecilia Orchestra, Antaeus Theatre Company, Venture West and South Coast Repertory.

Jamieson is also a voice over artist working in anime and video games, narrating educational ensembles for the Long Beach Symphony and promotional materials for Cal State Long Beach, even performing as the “Voice of God” for LA Opera’s production of Benjamin Britten’s Noye’s Fludde. He is an accomplished fight choreographer having staged fights for various LA theatre companies, film shorts, universities and high schools. Jamieson’s acting career includes films such as The Patriot, The Secret Kingdom, Metropolis, Final Fantasy VII and Naruto; TV appearances in Frasier, In-Laws, Unsolved Mysteries and on the Discovery Channel; favorite onstage performances include King Lear, Macbeth, Petruccio in Taming of the Shrew, Lord Capulet in Romeo & Juliet, Christian in Cyrano de Bergerac, Mordred in Merlin, and Vershinin in The Three Sisters to name just a few.

Jamieson received his undergraduate degree at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, and completed his M.F.A. in acting and directing at California State University, Long Beach. He has a passion for theatrical combat of all kinds and enjoys swinging his broadswords or samurai blades almost as much as he does his golf clubs.

Jamieson’s family life includes assisting his 12 year old triple-threat daughter work on auditions, light-saber duels and video game work-outs with his four year old son, lending a sympathetic ear to his twenty year old step-daughter and working out all the logistics with his incredible, also work-a-holic, woman-with-the-steady-gig wife.
