Pixie Monroe (Ensemble Casting)

Pixie Monroe (Ensemble Casting) is a high-energy CEO and founder of Monroe Casting and Production Services, Inc. Under her knowledgeable eye, she has overseen casting for everything from high-impact blockbusters to modest, independent productions.

Starting out as a casting associate, Pixie quickly rose through the ranks to become involved with projects like Tuck Everlasting for Disney, Minority Report for Steven Spielberg, and America's Most Wanted for FOX Television. After a few years of working in the industry, Pixie successfully opened her own casting agency, and has been busily casting everything from print campaigns to Oscar qualifier.

An active member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Local #399 Casting Directors Union and the Commercial Casting Directors Association, Pixie also finds time to serve on the Board of Directors for the Association of Women in Radio and Television, bringing her unique vision and presence to the group.  In her private life, she is fiercely dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the St. Jude Children's Medical Research Center, a cause she has been supporting since childhood.

Presently, Pixie has her hands full with two feature film projects, Sweetwater (American Dream Productions) and Doesn't Texas Ever End?  (Intervizon Productions), a TV show, Tag Your Space (Tat on the Wall Productions), various specials and commercials as well as multiple short films for the Jewish Impact Film Fellowship.  In her increasingly diminished free time, she can be found taping her internet radio show Casting Hope , putting together a benefit event for St. Jude's, and, most recently, casting the ensemble in the Broadway benefit performance of   Tim Rice's Chess  The Musical for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
