Rochelle Fabb

Rochelle Fabb (Coordinating Producer / Production Manager) is an awardwinning contemporary artist as well as a Producer/Writer/Director and Performer. Fabb has been invited to perform her original works nationally and internationally since 1993. Her solo and ensemble works have been presented at festivals, conferences, alternative spaces and galleries, museums and universities. Fabb has toured to Mexico City, Brazil, France, Berlin, Denmark, Miami, Santa Fe, Philadelphia, Boston, Tulsa and presented at venues throughout Southern California including the L.A. Theater Center and the L.A. County Museum of Art.

She has produced theater and dance shows and tours both nationally and internationally for Rachel Rosenthal, Empire of Teeth and Viver Brasil.  She recently produced a segment for CNN’s American Morning and served as season publicist for the Ford Amphitheatre from 2004 to the present.

Her mercurial, fantastical pieces range from solo performances to large scale, site specific works incorporating installation and performance. She is Co-Founder and Co-Director of Empire of Teeth, an artist collective that develops new interdisciplinary performance works incorporating a broad range of media.  Her straight theater credits include: Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Mrs. Kendal in The Elephant Man, and Lizzie in the The Rope Dancers.

Fabb has taught and lectured at: California Institute for the Arts, Philbrook Museum of Art, College of Santa Fe, the Institute for Studies in the Arts at Arizona State University, L.A. County Arts Commission, Highways Performance Space, Living Arts and 18th Street Arts Center amongst other venues.

Her performances have been covered in national and international publications including: the N.Y. Times, L.A. Times, L.A. Magazine, Contemporary Magazine, Hollywood Weekly, American Theater, The Drama Review, Stuff Magazine, Boston Magazine and L’éclair.  She was interviewed for a segment on LA performance artists on the PBS show “Life and Times” on KCET.

Fabb has been awarded grants from Arts International, Durfee Foundation, the City of Los Angeles and City of Santa Monica and has been granted residencies at Djerassi Foundation, Woodside, CA; Luna Foundation in Colorado and CAMAC in Marnay, France.
